Our History


1-800-AMBULANCE was originally used, for the past 30 years, as a phone number for air medical services. Once the phones were ringing off the hook from members of the public who wanted non-emergency medical ground transports, it was clear what the best use of 1-800-AMBULANCE was for readily available public access for non-emergency medical transportation help and  information.


We maintain an extensive network of companies all over the United States. Our ground ambulance partners must meet strict licensing requirement in order to be part of our ground ambulance team.


1-800-AMBULANCE air division was incorporated in the State of Florida as a Limited Liability Corporation in January 2005 and began offering non-emergency ambulance service to the public shortly thereafter.
